North Georgia Trout Fishing
Floating the Toccoa River tailwater in our drift boats is by far our most popular trip option, and
it is
perfect for learning how to trout fish.
Our drift boats are stable and safe enough to take guests from 5 to 100 years old on low or high
water
levels.
$400 Per Boat | 2 Anglers per Boat
Spend a half day on the Toccoa River tailwater.
$550 Per Boat | 2 Anglers per Boat
Spend a full day on the Toccoa River tailwater.
All anglers must have a valid Georgia freshwater fishing license and trout license. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and pack any snacks or drinks you'd like. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses!
Each boat fits two anglers and a dedicated guide, and we have multiple boats available for larger groups!
We're happy to fish with people of any age! Please call us to discuss very young children or elderly anglers so that we can best accomodate them.
The Toccoa River tailwater and headwaters account for all our float trips.
We've got you covered with all the gear, tackle, and flies you'll need! Feel free to use our rods or bring your own. We typically fish with 5wt 9ft fly rods or ultralight spinning gear, so keep that in mind if you're bringing equipment from home.
We typically catch both rainbow and brown trout, which range from about 8 to 16 inches. If you're hoping to catch some huge fish, don't worry! It's not uncommon for us to catch fish over 20 inches.
Fly or ultralight spinning gear is what we recommended.
We run trips on any day of the year. Call us to book now! 706-851-4001
