Guided Float Fishing Trips on the Toccoa River

Floating the Toccoa River tailwater in our drift boats is by far our most popular trip option, and it is perfect for learning how to trout fish.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring on my trip?

All anglers must have a valid Georgia freshwater fishing license and trout license. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and pack any snacks or drinks you'd like. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses!

How many people can come on a trip?

Each boat fits two anglers and a dedicated guide, and we have multiple boats available for larger groups!

Is there a minimum age or age limit?

We're happy to fish with people of any age! Please call us to discuss very young children or elderly anglers so that we can best accomodate them.

What rivers do you fish?

The Toccoa River tailwater and headwaters account for all our float trips.

What gear is provided on trips?

We've got you covered with all the gear, tackle, and flies you'll need! Feel free to use our rods or bring your own. We typically fish with 5wt 9ft fly rods or ultralight spinning gear, so keep that in mind if you're bringing equipment from home.

What kinds of fish will we catch?

We typically catch both rainbow and brown trout, which range from about 8 to 16 inches. If you're hoping to catch some huge fish, don't worry! It's not uncommon for us to catch fish over 20 inches.

What type of gear can we use?

Fly or ultralight spinning gear is what we recommended.

What time of year do you offer trips?

We run trips on any day of the year. Call us to book now! 706-851-4001
